Story

Super Tilt Bro. is a fighting game with platforming mechanics, in the pure tradition of the platform-fighter genre. You will jump, run, and punch around to propel your opponent out of the platform. But most of all, you'll be able to play online through your internet connection against players all around the world!

While true to its roots, Super Tilt Bro. eases the controls of your typical platform-fighter. Using the only two buttons of a NES controller, you get the full depth of one of the deepest genre in modern gaming.
This competitive game takes place in a wholesome chibi universe. No bad mouth, no free taunt, just friendship, and playing together. Friendly competition, and fairplay are the main spirit of the game.

Super Tilt Bro. is an open source game, owned by its community. It ensures that as long as anyone is interested, the game will continue to live. Do you want to run your own private server? Improve the game? Learn from it’s code? All of it is possible, without restriction. As an open source homebrew game, playable characters come from the open source and retrogaming worlds. Also, as Super Tilt Bro. can be updated, who knows where the future characters will come from?

Compatibility

The cartridge works on both PAL and NTSC systems using a multi-region security chip.
The game will adjust itself so it plays (almost) the same on NTSC and PAL systems.
The game has been tested on an authentic Nintendo Entertainment System, "front loader" and "top loader".
The game should also work with the AVS from retroUSB.
We don't guarantee that the game will work on clone systems.
